Refund policy

At Radical Adventures New England, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please review our return policy for details on eligible returns, custom orders, and restocking fees.

 

1.           Return and Refund Eligibility

·        Returns are accepted within 7 days, after receiving your item, for items that are in new, unused condition, with original packaging and receipt or proof of purchase.

·        A photo or video is required to be submitted to Radical Adventures to demonstrate the quality issue*.

·        E-bikes must have less than 10 miles of usage on the odometer to qualify for a return.

·        For health and safety reasons, accessories such as helmets, gloves, and personal protective gear are non-returnable if opened or used.

2.           Custom and Non-Stocked Orders

·        Custom orders and non-stocked items are non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to, custom configurations, specialty accessories, and limited-edition models. 

·        We do not accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or items containing hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gas.

3.           Restocking and Return Processing Fees

·        All eligible returns are subject to a restocking and returns processing fee of up to 30% of the item’s original purchase price.

·        This fee helps cover inspection, handling, and processing costs associated with the return. The exact fee amount will depend on the condition of the returned item but will be no more than 30% of the item’s original purchase price.

4.           Return Process

·        Please contact our customer service team at customerservice@radicaladventuresne.com to initiate a return and receive return instructions.

·        Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a traceable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items.

5.           Refunds

·        Approved refunds, less the restocking and processing fee, will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned item.

 

*Refunds are valid only for items where the main structure of the product is damaged and affects its normal functions in any form qualify for an exchange or refund.  The following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the return and refund policy:

·        Minor damage to the outer packaging.

·        Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.

·        Issues that can be solved with replacement parts or simple adjustments.  In these cases, we will work with the customer to secure replacement parts.

 

Please Note:

If the item does not meet the eligibility criteria noted above, or the returned item is received in damaged or unsellable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

For replacement parts or exchanged products, Radical Adventures has no influence or control over shipping delays.

 

How long does freight shipping take?

Freight shipping transit time is impacted by factors including distance, shipping mode, route, and season. In very rough estimates: express can take as little as 1-3 days, air freight is typically 5-10 days, and sea shipping can range anywhere from 20-45 days or more. The complexity of customs procedures and potential delays at border crossings can also influence freight shipping transit time. Factors such as the volume of shipments being processed, the accuracy of documentation, and any unforeseen inspections or regulatory requirements can contribute to longer transit times. Moreover, adverse weather conditions, such as storms or extreme temperatures, may disrupt transportation networks, further extending the delivery schedule. Therefore, it is crucial for shippers and recipients to consider these variables when estimating the arrival time of their freight shipments and to plan accordingly to minimize any potential delays.
