Technical Overview
Soltera 2.5 ships as a Class II e-bike, with pedal assist and throttle. Soltera 2.5 will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area where throttles are prohibited. Aventon e-bikes are built to the IPX5-rated standard. An IPX5 rating means the bike is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This provides a moderate level of water resistance, allowing you to ride in light to moderate rain or through small puddles. However, IPX5 does not mean waterproof—Aventon e-bikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or high-pressure sprayer to clean your e-bike, as pressurized water can still damage components. *Max range determined using PAS Eco throughout flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.
